The last lecture, part of the course An Introduction Self-organization, was held 9 December 2008. Hans Abbink (CEO of Almende) wrapped up with an extensive overview, bringing previous lectures in relation to the concept of self-organization.

Course 1 is ,An Introduction to Self-organization, is for everyone who is interested to gain insight into the concept of self-organization. The course will touch upon subjects such as systems theory, information theory, networks and evolution. The lectures will be presented by Hans Abbink (CEO of Almende).

Course 2, a follow-up on 'An Introduction to Self-organization', is called Elements of Self-organization. This course will zoom in on the specific principles and mechanisms of self-organization. This course will be given by Peet van Tooren (CTO of Almende). Topics in this series of 13 lectures will be a.o. feedback, adaptation, forecasting, emergent properties and escalation.
